How much do you charge?
Managed Services
For managed services like Google AdWords PPC management or targeted display advertising, we charge a 20% management fee on target ad spend. Most media companies charge between 25-50% on target ad spend and they keep any remaining budget at the end of the month. For display advertising, media companies typically have a 100% markup on top of a middleman's 100% markup.
SEO Services
Search engine optimize does not have a set fee per say. Every client has different goals and needs and thus we customize our SEO services based on what our clients actually need.

Can you guarantee results?
It depends on the solution or service provided. For instance, we cannot guarantee top Google placement for SEO services, but what we can guarantee is that we will follow all best practices to get your business ranked. What we can guarantee are things like target impression levels or click volumes for Display Advertising and over time we can generate insights into conversion ratios, for search engine marketing (SEM). Our goal is to always over deliver! Since we are an agency whom doesn't markup costs, you can be assured you'll get the best deal for your budget.
How will you provide reporting and insights to clients?
We use multiple platforms to capture your digital marketing information and everything is integrated (i.e., phone calls are logged in Google Analytics and AdWords). We provide a login to Actuate Media where clients can access things like up to date Google Analytics reporting, Search Marketing Reporting, Display Advertising reporting, and call tracking reporting, to name a few. We have Google AdWords scripts which help keep your advertising campaign reporting up to date within 24hrs. This is the same reporting we use to optimize your digital advertising campaigns. We call it Marketing Intelligence. Finally, we know our clients are busy, so your account representative should be going over your account performance every month.

what is seo?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization and is known as the practice of increasing a business's organic ranking on search engine platforms such as Bing, Yahoo! and Google. Unfortunately, there is a lot of ambiguity surrounding SEO strategies and tactics. Beware, no one can guarantee organic rank improvement and there are companies that specialize in SEO using Black Hat tactics (link buying, etc.). Google and Bing can penalize your business, so be careful. At Actuate Media, we follow all onsite and offsite best practices, and use a White Hat approach.
What Is SEM?
Search Engine Marketing (SEM) typically refers to paid search marketing also known as Pay Per Click (PPC), Cost Per Click (CPC). Search Engines like Google & Bing reserve space above and below their organic listings for paid placement. There are several approaches and strategies to search marketing including maximizing clicks, outranking competitors, and acquisition focused campaigns, to name a few. Whatever the goal, Actuate Media can help your business achieve results through search marketing.
do you have minimum contract lengths?
Typically yes, but it depends. For instance, many display campaigns can last for just about 1 month and therefore our agreement would be to run the campaign from start to finish. However, solutions like Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Websites typically have a minimum contract of 3 to 6 months. We call this a proof of concept period. There are several optimizations that need to occur over time that will affect the performance of these products, so it's important to have a set amount of time to realize results.
what qualifications do you hold?
Besides a combination of over 25 years of digital advertising experience, our implementation team has completed the Google Specialist Challenge for the Google Partner Program. We hold Google Certifications for: AdWords Fundamentals, Search Marketing, Display Advertising, Mobile Advertising, Video Advertising, and Google Shopping Ads.

Do you outsource your work?
All Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Display Advertising, Social Media Advertising, and more we strategize and implement in-house. However, we typically outsource for creative: content marketing, video production, ad production, and anything that has to do with media buying (i.e., buying ad space on a local media site).
