Instagram Ads

Where looking becomes wanting.

Instagram ads run across Feed, Stories, Reels, and Explore — labeled Sponsored, full-screen where it counts (Meta). The format is visual-first and unforgiving: creative built for the placement earns attention, and desktop assets crammed into vertical get scrolled past. We manage both the media and the creative standards it demands.

How it works

Placements with different physics.

Placement mechanics per Meta’s Instagram ads documentation — each surface rewards different creative, and one asset rarely serves all of them.

Reels & StoriesFull-screen vertical video between the content people came to watch. Native-feeling creative wins; safe-zone-aware design keeps your offer visible under Instagram's own interface elements.
Feed & ExploreSquare and vertical placements where a strong image or carousel can carry the sale on its own. Explore reaches people in discovery mode — browsing for something new, not someone specific.
Product tags & catalogsCatalog-linked ads let a tap open the product page directly. For DTC brands, this shortens the distance between seeing the thing and buying the thing to one gesture.
Our approach

Creative standards, measured outcomes.

01

Placement-true creative

Vertical built as vertical, safe zones respected, hooks in the first seconds. We build ad variations per placement from your brand assets — not one export stretched everywhere.

02

Tested against Facebook

Instagram runs beside Facebook in the same campaigns, and placement data sets the budget split. No loyalty to either surface — only to cost per result.

03

Signal wired first

Pixel plus Conversions API before spend scales, so iOS privacy losses don't blind the account. Instagram optimizes toward the outcomes you can actually verify.

04

Reported beside everything

One live dashboard with your other channels. If Instagram's cost per result can't hold up next to Facebook or search, the budget moves — and the report says why.

Is it for you?

For products the eye can sell.

Instagram earns budget when the product photographs well or demonstrates fast: fashion, beauty, food, fitness, travel, home goods, local experiences. Visual proof is the pitch — the ad works when the picture does the persuading.

If your offer needs a paragraph to make sense, weight Facebook or search instead. And if you can’t produce vertical creative regularly, we’ll flag that before recommending spend — the platform punishes stale assets quickly.

Instagram Ads management runs on our standard structure: 20% of monthly ad spend with a $500 monthly minimum — reduced rates and flat-rate retainers for larger accounts. Instagram and Facebook are typically managed together under one fee on combined spend. Ad variations from your brand assets are included; net-new production is scoped separately.

Instagram Ads questions

Placements, creative, and the Facebook split.

What Instagram demands from creative, and how it divides budget with Facebook under the Meta umbrella.

Usually not. Both run from Meta Ads Manager, and we typically run them in the same campaigns with placement-level reporting — then let the data set the split. Separate campaigns make sense when the creative or offer genuinely differs by surface, not by default.

Two costs: your media budget, paid to Meta, and our management fee — 20% of monthly ad spend with a $500 monthly minimum, stepping down at higher spend, with flat-rate retainers for larger accounts. Instagram and Facebook are managed together on combined spend.

Image, video, carousel, and collection ads across Feed, Stories, Reels, and Explore placements — all labeled Sponsored. Stories and Reels are full-screen vertical; catalog-connected ads add product tags that open a product page on tap. Which formats earn budget depends on your offer, so we test rather than assume.

Vertical-first assets built for each placement: 9:16 for Stories and Reels with safe zones respected, square or 4:5 for Feed. Polished isn't required — native-feeling usually outperforms it — but stale is fatal. We build variations from your existing assets; bigger production needs are scoped separately.

Instagram if your buyers skew past their mid-20s, if you want catalog shopping built in, or if you're already spending on Facebook — the shared Ads Manager makes testing cheap. TikTok demands faster creative turnover for a younger skew. Many brands run both; we report them against the same blended CAC.
